How did I become a fan of these things?

Craft Chocolate

I first fell in love with the taste of true chocolate after experience a tasting at The Chocolate Garage in downtown Palo Alto as part of a team offsite. I am sad to say that they closed in August 2018, but am thankful that their chocolate legacy lives on in changed lives of people like me!

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

In 2015, I read a book called Extra Virginity: The Sublime and Scandalous World of Olive Oil. I might have never experienced the joy of real EVOO, had I not flipped through the last few pages and noticed a recommended store carrying EVOO was near my office in San Carlos.

I dropped by The Olive Crush, sampled delicious EVOOs and balsamic vinegars, and have not turned back since.
